Year 5 – Kingfishers & Herons

Welcome to Year 5

Year 5 is the inspiring beginning of Upper Key Stage 2. It is when we start pulling together all the strands of learning from previous years, aiming to stretch and challenge each and every child in their own way.

We have two Year 5 classes:

• Herons – taught by Miss Reece
• Kingfishers – taught by Mr Postgate & Mrs Collins (Thurs pm)

Mr. Pauley and Mrs. Collins cover PPA time on Wednesday mornings. We are also very lucky to have our wonderful TAs: Mrs Simons, Mrs Khan and Mrs Lee.

Throughout the year, we will explore a range of exciting topics, including Oceans, Ancient Greeks, Vikings, 3D Sculpture installations and so much more!

PE days: Wednesdays (Outside) and Thursdays (Inside).
